What To Wear For A Fall Photo Session

As a Minnesota Family Photographer, let me help you style your family for your fall family photo sessions

Styling your family for a photo session really helps create a beautiful image. Yes it is more about the connection and smiles, but the colors and textures of your clothes draws helps set the tone of your images. Plus when you are looking good, you are going to feel good and enjoy your session with your family

Colors

Go with the season. Take a peak outside and notice the colors that are happening right now; this is not just for Fall but also for all seasons. Right now, we are getting into deeper colors like burnt orange, browns, forest greens, and steal blues. Neutrals are always welcome and easy to coordinate for your family’s outfits

Layers

It’s Fall and as Minnesotans, we LIVE for the change of the seasons. In the Fall, it would be winter in the morning, summer in the afternoon and then fall in the evening. When coordinating your outfits, don’t forget to add in tights with dresses, another layer under your tops, and a jacket or cardigan. The jackets and cardigans is a great way to add more texture and interest.

For Her

We are dressing around HER! Whether that is you or your daughters. Guys are typically really simple to dress; dark pants and fitted henley top. BUT YOU!! Oh I want you to feel amazing! Plus women's clothes have all the textures, fabrics, and patterns that will make a photo POP!
